|Ash Ra Tempel: Gin Rosé at the Royal Festival Hall||
|1||Eine pikante Variante||
|Recorded:||Concert on 2 April 2000 in London's Royal Festival Hall|
|First Release:||July 2000, on Manikin Records (MRCD 7049)|
|Performed by:||Manuel Göttsching (guitars) & Klaus Schulze (keyboards, drum machines, sequencing and mastering)|
|The album was recorded live at the Royal Festival Hall during Julian Cope's sold out Cornucopea Festival on 2 April, 2000. The intention was to have the original trio that founded the group play together, and that would have included Hartmut Enke on bass, and Klaus Schulze on drums. Instead due to the reluctance of Enke to play, Schulze returns on the synthesizers while Göttsching remains faithful to his guitar(s).
Gin Rosé won the September 2000 En=Trance Award, chosen by the German online music magazine Planet X.
